I'm not confident enough to lay down a critique, so I'll stick to comments k?
The cropping does give a sense of depth to the photo with the foreground picnic area and the far off background and sky. I see that you've tried to use the tress to frame your shot but it doesn't totally work for me probably because of the awkward shape left open by the framing trees. @__@ also, the picnic table feels wrong since it was cut out of the frame.

oh its alright! constructive criticism is always helpful. there was an unsightly pallet leaning on the picnic table, so i trimmed it off the edge. i may just move this photo to scraps or just delete it, the more i look at it, the more i feel i shouldn't have submitted it! lol but we all have photos like that i would assume. i do appreciate you taking the time to comment, and am glad that you are a watcher!
